So if you are one of the travel enthusiasts then visit your own country today. For traveling here you will find Cox's Bazar, the longest beach in the world, as well as the mangrove forest Sundarbans. Besides, you will find many small and big hills in Chittagong division, you will find tea gardens in Sylhet, Birishiri in Mymensingh. Also there is the coral island of Saint Martin.
1. Cox's Bazar:-
Cox's Bazar is the longest beach in Bangladesh and the world. It is about 125 km in length. It is the most popular tourist center among the general population of Bangladesh. It takes 10-12 hours to go by bus from the capital Dhaka. Besides, you can easily go by plane. Numerous hotels and resorts have been developed there, focusing on the tourism industry of Cox's Bazar. Markets are built around the beach for shopping. Along with that, you can enjoy different types of sea fish such as Roopchanda, Loitta, Prawns, Tuna etc. sitting on the sea shore. Apart from the beach in Cox's Bazar, there are some places to visit Himchari mountains and small springs.
2. Saint Martin Island:-
At the end of Cox's Bazar, from Teknaf, you have to cross the sea route to St. Martin's Island by boat. This island is decorated with natural beauty. Located in the Bay of Bengal, this island is only 8 square km. The ship usually departs from Teknaf in the morning to St. Martin and returns to Cox's Bazar in the afternoon. You can also stay overnight in St. Martin if you want. Many resorts have been developed here and the tourism industry is slowly expanding. Along with St. Martin is another small island called Torn Island. Tourists are allowed to visit the island from September to March. For the rest of the time, the authorities stopped the movement of the general public there.
3. Sundarbans:-
Sundarbans is said to be the world's largest mangrove forest. The Sundarbans, however, are not entirely part of Bangladesh. Part of it is in neighboring India. Sundarbans has Bengal's famous Royal Bengal tiger, deer, monkey, crocodile and many other creatures. Sundarbans with several districts of India including Khulna, Satkhira, Bagerhat. Its area is 6000 square km. From Dhaka you can go to Khulna by bus or train and from there you can visit Sundarbans via Kotka.
4. Bandarban:-
In the east of Bangladesh are Chittagong and Sylhet divisions. Bandarban is a district of Chittagong Division. Bandarban, one of the most beautiful tourist centers in Bangladesh, has been built around the hills and springs. Reaching Bandarban from Dhaka by bus, you can see the Nilgiris, Nilachal, Chimbuk, Meghla and other mountains of Bandarban. Besides, there is Golden Temple of Buddhists in Bandarban. Besides, if you are ready to cross the remote, then you can visit the scenic areas of Thanchi, Alikdam, Amiyakhum, Nafakum a little further inside Bandarban.
5. Sylhet:-
Sylhet is the northeastern region of Bangladesh. Sylhet is mainly famous for its tea gardens. Sylhet can be easily reached by bus or train from the capital Dhaka. There is also an airport in Sylhet. Famous tourist places in Sylhet are Jaflong, Lalakhal, Bisthakandi and Ratargul. Besides, many people visit various tea plantations along with Haripur gas field. Besides, Tanguar Haor in Sunamganj outside Sylhet district is a very beautiful place to visit during monsoons. Also Srimangal has Lauachhara National Park, Hamham Jharna. Besides, Sylhet is another special attraction during the monsoon season. It is the Madhavkund fountain.
6. Birishiri:-
Greater Mymensingh is just north of Dhaka. Mymensingh can be easily reached by bus or train. Day by day Mymensingh is becoming one of the main attractions for tourists. Birishiri is one of the attractions here. Birishiri is a unique collection of unique beauty of nature. This Birishiri is located in Durgapur Upazila of Netrakona. It is basically located at the foot of Karu hill. There is a varied river Someswari. You can reach Chinamati Hill by boat or ferry crossing there. Since Birishiri is a little far from the city, no good hotels or resorts have been developed there yet. If you want to do a small tour for 2/1 day then Birishiri is a very good tourist destination for you.
7. Sajek:-
Sajek Valley is one of the major tourist attractions of Rangamati district. A new road has been constructed there with the help of Bangladesh Army so that tourists can travel there very easily. Sajek valley is 18000 feet above sea level. Although Sajek Valley is located in Rangamati district, Khagrachari is the best way to reach here. From Khagrachari, one has to go to Sajek via Dighinala Bazar by Chander's car. No other vehicle is available there except Chander's car from Dighinala. The sunrise and sunset views of Sajek are breathtaking.
If you are a wanderlust or want to see the natural beauty of Bangladesh with your eyes then you must visit these few places. But remember that tourist centers are part of your country. These are the resources of your country. So don't pollute the environment of these travel destinations by littering anywhere. Be aware yourself, be aware and travel safely.
