Hero Alam is overwhelmed with emotion after seeing his sculpture

The Dhaka Times Desk Currently Hero Alam has come into discussion more and more as a candidate for the 11th National Assembly elections. Hero Alam is overwhelmed with emotions after seeing his sculpture.

Ashraful Hossain Alam alias Hero Alam said that on December 3, a photo of Hero Alam's sculpture went viral on social media Facebook. Based on that picture, he started looking for the sculpture himself. The next day on December 4, Hero Alam found the sculpture through Facebook.

That afternoon, Hero Alam went to Jagannath Hall to see his sculpture. Uttam Kumar Sharma is making that bust sculpture of him. He is the son of Nipendranath Sharma of Narayanpur village of Baliakandi upazila of Rajbari district. Uttam Kumar Sharma is a 1st year MFA student of Sculpture Department, Faculty of Fine Arts, Dhaka University.

Hero Alam met student Uttam Kumar in Jyotirmoy Bhavan of Jagannath Hall of DU on the same day (December 4) in the afternoon to see his sculpture.

This time he was accompanied by Atiqur Rahman, founder chairman of Digital International Human Rights Foundation and several media workers. Ashraful Hossain Alam Raofe Hero Alam was surprised to see his own sculpture in front of his eyes. At this time, Hero Alam was overwhelmed with emotion.

Student Uttam Kumar was also overjoyed to see Hero Alam. Seeing Hero Alam in the Jagannath Hall square, DU students also started taking selfies. Hero Alam was very cheerful this time.

Uttam Kumar Sharma, a student of the sculpture department of the Faculty of Fine Arts of DU, said that by creating the sculpture of Hero Alam, we have not only shown respect and love, but also honored the entire artist community by creating works of art. Addressing Hero Alam, he said, this simple man can be seen as a symbol of integrity against the recent dishonest and selfish politics.

Uttam Kumar also said that he took the initiative to make the sculpture out of his own interest. He could not confirm where the sculpture would actually be placed, if it would be placed at all. But for now, this young sculptor said that he will keep the sculpture with himself at Jagannath Hall.
