Last Saturday, Mandela's wife Gracia Michelle and South African President Jacob Zuma said in separate statements that Mandela's condition had improved. However, Jacob Zuma said his condition is still critical despite some improvements. The hospital authorities said the same thing on Sunday. Meanwhile, Mandela fans continue to stand in front of Pretoria's Mediclinic Heart Hospital. Fans are praying for Mandela's recovery by lighting candles with flowers.
