However, among these various initiatives, the mobile manufacturing company Xiaomi showed the light of hope to solve the problem. The company claims that they have brought anti-pollution masks within the reach of the middle class, which will protect against air pollution.
At the beginning of the new year, Xiaomi announced this anti-pollution mask. They will have two masks in a pack. Its price is set at just 249 rupees. It has been informed by the company that this new mask will be available to buy only in Xiaomi's online store.
Xiaomi's anti-pollution mask is named 'Mi Airpop PM 2.5'. The new mask is capable of blocking particles as small as 0.3 microns. Xiaomi claims that the effectiveness of this mask is 99.97 percent.
This Xiaomi mask will have 4 levels of filtration. The weight of this mask is only 32.2 grams. Xiaomi has informed that only the black mask will be available.
This Xiaomi anti pollution mask can be used for 15 hours. It is assumed that a person will use this Xiaomi mask for two hours. As such, Xiaomi's mask will cost an average of only 17 rupees per day.
It should be noted that Xiaomi is basically a smartphone manufacturer. There is a huge demand for Xiaomi smartphones in Bangladesh. Moreover, Xiaomi smartphones are becoming popular day by day due to their battery life and camera quality.
