The sale of nomination papers started yesterday (January 15) from 10 am. It is said that the process of selling these forms will continue until the Election Commission announces the schedule of elections for reserved seats for women. 30 thousand taka is being taken for each nomination paper of Awami League.

It has been reported that Awami League will get 43 seats, Jatiya Party 4, BNP 1, Workers Party 1 and independent candidates will get 1 seat if they join the coalition in the reserved seats of the parliament.

It may be noted that during the BNP-Jamaat coalition government, actress Moushumi was an active member of the Bangladesh Nationalist Social and Cultural Organization (Jasas).
