According to media reports, this new Salamweb browser can be used on mobile and desktop computers. Hasni Zarina Mohammad Khan, managing director of Salam Web Technologies, the maker of this new browser, said it includes news, messages and other features. Basically, its customers will get more content based on Malaysia and Indonesia. He also said that the target of getting 10 percent of the world's 1.8 billion Muslim population as customers has been fixed. While creating this browser, they have faced criticism from giant companies like Facebook and Google. International human rights organization Amnesty International has also criticized their new initiative.
