The Dhaka Times Desk Avenir Telecom has unveiled a new smartphone with a standby time of 50 days on a single full charge.
Avenir unveiled the Energizer P18K Pop smartphone at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain. The Energizer brand is also licensed to Aveni Telecom.
According to a report by the US media CNBC, almost all of this thick smartphone is occupied by the battery. Where the iPhone XS battery is 2658 milliamp hours, this Energizer P18K Pop battery is 18000 milliamp hours! In addition to a large battery, this new device has a 6.2-inch screen and 3 rear cameras.
Aveni claims, “The device can play videos for two days straight and make calls for almost four days straight! If you are not using it, the smartphone can be left in standby mode for 50 consecutive days.”
France's Paris-based Avenir Telecom has announced that it will begin shipping the new smartphone to its customers this summer.
