Runa Laila's daughter is Tani Laila. He also sings. Though it will take more time to become popular like mom. However, she has a lot in common with her mother. It is the same in appearance as well as in voice. This is the first time Tani Laila sang with her mother. After 14 years, mother and daughter sang together again.
On March 10, Tani's song recording was completed at Raja Kashef's 'High Street' studio in London under his own arrangement. The lyrics of the song are, 'I have become yours after'. This song is written by Ekushey Padak award winning lyricist Gazi Mazharul Anwar.
After recording the song, Runa Laila said, 'Since several artistes are singing in my tune, I had a desire to sing with her since long. Moreover, when I asked Tani to sing in my tune, she expressed her desire to sing the song with great interest. I made the tune that goes with Tani's voice. All in all, Tani has sung the song very well. I am satisfied listening to his music. Hope everyone will like the song.'
Tani Laila is extremely excited and happy to sing her mother's tune. Earlier on last Valentine's Day evening, Runa Laila had sung the song 'Ferate Parini Tome' in her own tune composed by Raja Kashef. This song is penned by National Film Award winning lyricist Kabir Bakul.
