Important information has been found in the voice recorder recovered from the cockpit of the 'Boeing 737 Max' model of the 'Boeing 737 Max' model of the Indonesian Lion Air that crashed with 189 passengers, the news media Reuters reported.
In the voice recorder, the co-pilot of the plane was heard saying 'Allahu Akbar', shortly after it crashed into the Karawang Sea. After that, nothing was heard from the pilot or anyone else.
It is to be noted that the plane that left Indonesia's capital Jakarta on October 29 with 189 passengers crashed into the sea shortly after takeoff. The plane started its journey towards Pankal Penang, Bangka island of the country.
The plane lost contact with the airport's air traffic control room just 13 minutes after takeoff. However, the pilot did not get permission to bring the plane back even before it crashed.
Authorities had earlier confirmed that the pilot had noticed a mechanical fault while flying the same plane on a different route the day before the crash. It is believed that this is why the plane wanted to make an emergency landing.
