The government is taking up new schemes to eliminate land harassment. The Department of Lands has taken the initiative to provide digitized services from next June to alleviate the suffering of the people.

As a result of taking this step, there is no need to wait for years for naming, it is also informed that naming will be completed in just 28 days.

As an effort to make this program successful, about 4 lakh e-namejari cases have already been completed in Dhaka district including the capital. Bhoomi Seva Week and Bhoomi Karmela will be held from April 10 to increase public awareness. This news has been given by the media citing relevant sources.

When asked about this, Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Javed told the media that the government has taken the initiative to digitize land management to eliminate harassment related to land. As a part of this, the e-Namjari system has been introduced experimentally in Dhaka district including the capital. Already more than 3 lakh 93 thousand e-enrollment has been completed. The entire country will be covered by this program by June. Land registration will be completed in just 28 days.

The victims have been demanding for a long time that no progress has been made even after a long time has passed after submitting the fee to the land office for registration of the land. Land owner has to follow a lengthy process for Namjari. National identity card, photograph, land ownership documents along with prescribed fee have to be submitted to AC land office. From there it is sent to the Tehsildar's office.

Then the Tehsildar 'if satisfied' sends it to the Union Land Office. Then inquiry report is also sought from concerned union land office. Then Nazir of land office joined this process. Moreover, land transfer (LT) notice is given to the buyer-seller of the land. Even after everything is in order, there are those who have to wait for years to get the name of the owner of the land.

If this new digitalized service system is introduced, the problems existing in the offices of the Ministry of Lands will be solved. Especially the corruption that happens in these land offices will also reduce.
