Along with the new design AirPods, an updated version of the current design may also be introduced, according to a report by the British tabloid Mirror.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, introducing a new design will increase consumer demand for the device and attract consumers to it.

Ming-Chi Kuo also predicts that AirPods sales will reach 5.2 million in 2019. In 2020, this number will stand at 7.5 to 8.5 crore.

The report also mentions that the new AirPods will feature a 'noise-cancellation function'.

Apple unveiled the second generation of AirPods last month. Along with 'Hey Siri' support, it offers 50 percent more talk time.
