The story of people's rare love for dogs!

The Dhaka Times Desk We often see cases of protecting people at the risk of life by showing love to people. This time, a story of people's rare love for dogs has appeared in the media!

A few days ago, this little puppy lost its two hind legs after falling under the train. Doctors could do nothing. But one person did not give up. He not only saved the stray dog's life by treating him for the last three months, but made a whole 'walking trolley' for him! The 5/6 month old dog 'Taimur' is happily walking around with that two-wheeled trolley.

According to media reports, Taimur fell under the train near Ichapur railway station in India on January 7. He was only one and a half months old then. His two hind legs were amputated. Although he was taken to Barrackpore Animal Hospital and his leg was operated on, it was doubtful whether he would survive.

Then the rescuers informed Prasenjit Goswami, a resident of Shyamnagar. For the past 35 years, one of Prosenjit's passions is to treat animals and birds lying on the streets in the area. Prasenjit Babur, a piano teacher by profession, became a challenge to save the seriously injured Taimur.

Prosenjit claims, "At first, my eyes were filled with tears when I saw his condition. Barrackpore Hospital discharged him with stitches in his leg. Some parts of the leg bones were sticking out.'' There was fear of gangrene from that part.

Prosenjit himself took care of her. He claimed, "I have done this job with 35 years of experience. There was danger, but otherwise he could not have been saved.''

He spared no effort in treating Taimur. However, fifty-one year old Prosenjit did not stop only with treatment. "After two and a half months when he is very healthy, I think I will walk him like 5 other children.

Why would he be confined in a small room?'' he said. He made a design of a walking trolley for dogs after browsing the internet.

Timur's body length and weight saw everything, he made a whole walking trolley with wood, aluminum sheet, belt, plywood! To keep the two hind legs from rubbing the ground, they also put foot bags in it. Exactly three months and 22 days after the accident, the walking trolley was gifted to Taimur.

How is Timur now after getting a new trolley? Rathin Bhowmik of Shyamnagar said, “He is very excited. However, he is a little scared because he is moving forward with the wheel. He is small now!'' After the accident, Rathinbabui took Taimur to the hospital.

Since then, Timur took shelter on the first floor of his residence. The caretaker of that residence also takes care of him. Prosenjit Babu said, "He used to cry in one place. Walking happily from that place, it is indescribable satisfaction.''

What will happen after little Timur grows up? Prasenjit Babu said, every 6 months, the size of this trolley will be changed in accordance with the size of Taimur. This story of Timur appeared in India's influential Bengali daily Anandabjar. And millions of people in the world can know about this rare love of people for animals. Which surprised everyone.
