The Dhaka Times Desk The warships of the world's two largest superpowers survived the shock for a while! A US guided missile cruiser collided with a Russian destroyer in the Philippine Sea.
The US Navy gave this information last Friday. The United States criticized the incident as unprofessional and unsafe.
Commander Clayton Doss, spokesman for the US 7th Fleet, said the Russian destroyer Udaloy IDD572 used an unguarded maneuver against the USS Chancellorsville while they were conducting operations in the Philippine Sea.
The US commander termed the statement made by Russia that the US warships are operating in a dangerous manner as propaganda.
He also said that the Russian destroyer came within 50 to 100 feet of USS Chancellorsville.
