A study by UNICEF has revealed the sensational information of countries where boys are married before the age of 15. Studies also show that 1 in 5 children are victims of child marriage in several countries around the world. Even 115 million boys around the world are married at an early age.
UNICEF recently conducted a study on child marriage in 42 countries. The survey covers countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, South Asia, East Asia, Africa and the Pacific Rim. After various tests, such important information has emerged in the report obtained from the survey.
UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta said that adults need to be more aware of this issue. Many things happen due to their lack of awareness. which ultimately a state cannot have the power to prevent. Due to child marriage at a very young age, men sit on the shoulders of heavy responsibilities like fathers. To save the family, one has to start looking for a job at an early age. However, due to the lack of education, you cannot even start working at that rate as you wish. Due to which unemployment is increasing.
Due to poverty, remote areas and illiteracy, deadly social practices such as child marriage are still present in the world today.
