According to media reports, popular singer Asif Akbar is going to come to the big screen as an actor for the first time. The present-day heartthrob singer has acted in a full-length musical film titled 'Gaheener Gaan'. Asif Akbar is playing the central role in the film produced by Bangladhol.

Aman Reza, Tama Mirza, Tanjika Amin and other actors also acted in the film 'Gaheener Gan'. Writer and director Saadat Hossain is producing this film based on 9 songs sung by artiste Asif. The shooting of the film has already been completed. Now there is only waiting for release. According to production sources, the film is planned to be released across the country on the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
