One unfortunate man named Edward Mordek

The face of an ordinary person can only be seen from the front, but there is another face behind this person's head. The creature laughed, cried and made strange noises, and Edward had no control over that head! He himself had become a separate existence.

এডওয়ার্ডের ধারণা ছিলো তার এই বিকল্প মাথাটা আসলে ” শয়তানের মাথা”। রাতের বেলা যখন এডওয়ার্ড ঘুমাতে যেতেন, তখন ওই বাড়তি জিনিসটা নাকি ফিসফিস করে তাকে কিছু একটা বলতো! ডাক্তারদের বার বার অনুরোধ করা হয়েছিলো বাড়তি মাথাটা কেটে ফেলার জন্য, তবে কেও সাহস করে উঠতে পারেনি।

Edward Mordek committed suicide at the age of 23, unable to bear the pain! His situation was similar to that of Pascal Pinon and Cheng Tizo Ping.

In the 1976 publication of The Book of Lists, both Murdek and Pinon were ranked among the top 10 people in the world with extra faces or limbs.

Edward Mordek's status is difficult to establish because no records of his birth and death have survived to this day, and there is controversy over his suicide and place of suicide. Most of his incidents are oral.

After Edward Mordack wrote about him in an article called Anomalies and Curiosities in Medicine in 1896, he is now the subject of many plays, essays and songs. However, sometimes many people call this story of his as a lie. This is because, according to them, the incident was largely fictional and had no medical explanation - it had been popularized for many years to make it seem like a real event.

Tom Waits wrote a song about Edward Murdek on the Allies album titled, "Poor Edward".
