(1) We never iron our clothes on the bare floor. Clothes can be ironed on the table. If you don't have a table, spread the kantha on the floor and iron a thick cotton cloth on it. This will save your clothes from burning in many cases.

(2) Sprinkle a little perfume on the cloth while ironing. This will make the smell last for a long time and save you from the trouble of using perfume directly on your body. Those who have allergies or other problems when using body spray or perfume directly on their skin, they can adopt this method.

(3) Before ironing, you must check whether your fabric is silk, cotton, linen, georgette, i.e. what type of fabric you are ironing. Usually, the temperature required according to the type of fabric is written on the iron itself. Determine the temperature of the iron according to the type of fabric and iron it.

(4) Iron the cushion upside down. If the table mat has a monogram, iron it from the reverse side.

(5) In many cases we destroy the color of blocks, handpaints, screenprints after ironing. In this case, iron the fabric from the opposite side. Then the color of the cloth will not be damaged.

(6) Always place a shiny smooth satin or crepe fabric between the folds of another lightly damp cotton cloth and then iron. This will reduce the risk of damage to your clothes.

(7) While ironing a blouse or shirt, first iron the sleeves and collar and then the rest.

(8) In many cases we notice that our cotton fabric loses its color after ironing, the main reason for this is ironing with too hot iron. Iron on the reverse side and if you used water while ironing, air dry it before putting away.

(9) Many people burn clothes while ironing. In this case, sprinkle arrowroot or starch water on the cloth before ironing.

(10) We do not put the clothes in the closet immediately after ironing. After ironing, keep the clothes outside in the air for a few hours and then put them in the cupboard or in a designated place.
