The Dhaka Times Desk 2019 JSC and equivalent exam will start on November 2 and 2020 SSC and equivalent exam will start on February 1. This proposed schedule has been approved by the Ministry of Education.

Candidates must take their seat in the examination hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. The same answer sheet should be used for creative and multiple choice tests.

Physical Education and Health, Career and Life Oriented Education and Arts and Crafts, Agricultural Education, Home Science, Arabic, Sanskrit, Pali Subjects as per NCTB guidelines, marks obtained through continuous evaluation should be provided by the educational institutions to the concerned Centre.

After receiving the candidate's roll number, the concerned center will enter the serial evaluation number obtained online on the board's website during the examination.

Candidates should collect their admit card from the head of their institution at least 3 days before the commencement of the examination.

Each candidate can appear in the examination of the subject/subjects mentioned in the registration form only. Under no circumstances can one appear in the examination in a different subject.

SSC and equivalent examination

The examination of theoretical subjects in SSC and equivalent examinations will start from February 1 next year (year 2020) and will end on February 22. The practical exam should be completed between 23rd to 29th February.

The instructions state that 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination, candidates must take their seats in the examination hall and take the examination as per the time mentioned in the question paper.

First the Multiple Choice and then the Creative/Compositional (Theory) test will be conducted and there will be no break between the two tests.

Candidates should collect their admit card from their Head of Institution at least 3 days before the commencement of examination.

In the case of candidates of 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2018-2019 academic year, physical education, health science and sports and career education subjects will be provided by the educational institutions to the concerned center through continuous evaluation as per the instructions of NCTB. The concerned center will send the marks obtained in the continuous assessment along with the marks of the practical examination online on the website of the board.

Candidates have to pass creative/composite (theoretical), multiple choice and practical sections separately.

Each candidate can appear in the examination of the subject/subjects mentioned in the registration form only. Under no circumstances can you appear in the examination in a different subject.

(Creative/Compositive (Third), Multiple Choice and Practical) will not be conducted in the candidate's own school/institute. Candidates have to arrange seats through transfer process. The practical test will be held at the respective centre/venue.

Application for re-verification should be made online through SMS within 7 days of publication of exam results
