It has been said that the purpose of importing these mosquitoes is to create new reproduction of these gentle mosquitoes through association with dengue-carrying Aedes (female) mosquitoes. The newly hatched mosquitoes will die after two weeks. Later, all the mosquitoes that will be born will not be born as 'gentle mosquitoes' i.e. dengue-carrying Aedes mosquitoes, they will be born as gentle mosquitoes.

Many people may think these words as just a fairy tale, but in reality, it is known in the media that they are thinking of importing mosquitoes from London to control dengue-carrying Aedes mosquitoes.

Director General of the Department of Health Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Azad said in this regard, the World Health Organization has also been requested for assistance in this regard. He said, after learning that there are such effective mosquitoes through research at a London university, he also requested the World Health Organization to help.

The Director General of Health also said that extensive programs have been undertaken to keep the people of different parts of the country free from dengue outbreak. From now on, a regular meeting will also be held on the dengue situation in the presence of all the officials of the health department. Necessary steps will be taken after analyzing the data in the meeting.

It was also informed that all-out efforts will be taken to control the situation by regular discussions with various public and private hospital authorities and departmental health directors of the capital. In consultation with the Society of Medicine to ensure proper treatment of dengue disease, updated guidelines and guidelines will be provided. It has also been informed that dengue bulletin will be issued every week from the health department.

City residents have been urged not to panic about dengue. The media is also requested to be cautious and not to spread panic but to cooperate in dengue control.

It should be noted that there has been a large outbreak of dengue recently in the whole country including the capital. About 4 to 5 lakh patients are being admitted to the hospitals every day. As this dengue is currently spreading in an epidemic form, various initiatives are being taken. Along with that, publicity has also been increased.
