The story of the beginning of this young woman's entrepreneurship was quite different. Although born in a Bengali family, Ankiti Bose grew up outside Bengal. Ankiti Basu studied Economics and Mathematics from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai in 2012.

Ankiti Bose also started working at the Mumbai branch of McKinsey, an American consulting firm. From there he joined the Bangalore office of Sequoia Capitals, another US firm.
Ankiti Basu was 23 when she met 24-year-old Dhruv Kapoor in Bangalore. After completing his studies from IIT, Guwahati, this young engineer Dhruv Kapoor was working as a software engineer in the gaming studio Qiy Inc.
What happened next. Both of them had a dream to quit their jobs and do something of their own. First they thought of opening an e-commerce site. But in India at that time, companies like Flipkart, Amazon are sitting. He understood that he could not compete with them. So began to think differently.
Ankiti Bose visited Bangkok that year. There his eyes opened. After entering the Chatuchak market there, clothes, shoes, bags and accessories made by local designers caught his eye. Ankiti Bose realized that because of the language barrier, it was not possible for local traders to convey them to outsiders.
The idea came to him immediately. Ankiti discussed with Dhruva back home. The two of them left their jobs and went to work with a capital of 21 lakh taka. But their journey was not an easy one. It takes them about a year to complete the market research. Ankiti Basu started the work of developing interest in online business among traders by visiting the markets of Bangkok.
These two young men started dealing with technical issues while sitting in Bangalore. They were more interested in capturing the South Asian market. They started working like that. Then in the last four years, Jilingo succeeded in capturing the markets of Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, China and Cambodia. They have already started trading in India and Australia.
Ankiti Basu once worked for the company Sequoia, today they also invested 226 million USD in Zilingo! Singapore's Tamsek Holding Pvt Ltd has an investment in their company. At the moment the CEO of Jilingo is Ankiti Bose. He runs the company's headquarters in Singapore. On the other hand, Dhruv Kapoor is leading 100 workers in Bangalore. He is serving as Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of this organization.
