Laden's son Hamza bin Laden was killed

The Dhaka Times Desk The United States has claimed that Hamza bin Laden, the son of the late Osama bin Laden, the founder of al-Qaeda, has been killed. International media reported this on July 31 citing three officials of the country.

But when, where or how Laden's son died, those three officials could not say clearly.

The official, who did not wish to be named, told the media that Hamza bin Laden, son of the terrorist leader and former Al-Qaeda chief, was killed. The United States intelligence agency also has information on this matter. However, they did not say anything confirming the involvement of America in the death.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump said about the incident of bin Laden's death, I do not want to comment on this matter.

Note that on March 1 of this year, Saudi Arabia revoked the citizenship of bin Laden's son. At that time, Washington announced a reward of 1000,000 dollars if anyone could provide information that could lead to Hamza's location or identification in any country.

Hamza, 30, was with his father in Afghanistan before the 9/11 attacks. They later spent time together in Pakistan after the US invasion of Afghanistan.

Hamza Bin Laden was born in 1989. In 1996, his father, Osama bin Laden, went to Afghanistan and declared war on the United States. Hamza has also been seen with father Osama bin Laden in various Al-Qaeda video footages.

However, in 2011, Osama bin Laden was killed in an operation by US Navy Seals in Abbottabad, Pakistan, but Hamza was not seen in that compound.

Also in 2017, Ali Soufan, a counter-terrorism expert and former FBI agent of the United States, said in an article that Hamza was preparing to take over the leadership of the organization founded by his father.

It is known about Hamza, Hamza bin Laden was born to Khairiya Saber, one of Osama's three surviving wives. Last August, Hamza married the daughter of Mohammad Atta, the mastermind behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
