The picture you are seeing is the 201 Dome Mosque under construction at Gopalpur in Madhupur Upazila of Tangail. It was never imagined that such a beautiful mosque could exist in a wealthy city.
A big dome of 81 feet height is being built in the middle of the roof of this mosque. All around there are 200 domes of 17 feet height, which are already decorated with various precious stones. The four corners of the main mosque have 4 minarets of 101 feet height.
Along with this, 4 more minarets of 81 feet height have been constructed. The complete Quran and the 99 most beautiful names of Allah are painted on the tiles of the mosque walls, which has already been done in many places. Anyone can read this Quran written on the wall of the mosque sitting or standing.
Looking at the domes on the roof of the mosque, the eyes are filled with tears. Talking to some people involved in the work of the mosque, it is known that 50 maunds of brass were used in the construction of the main door of this mosque under construction on 15 bigha land! There is a separate room in the highest minaret of the mosque for calling the call to prayer. The builders claim that this is going to be the world's most domed and second tallest minaret mosque.
Talking to the locals, it is known that during the construction stage of the mosque, it has received a huge response from the general public. Many visitors flock to see the structure from morning to evening every day. Already 80 percent of the construction of the mosque has been completed. It is expected to get the status of a traditional mosque when the construction work is fully completed.
