In an interview given to Indian media News18, Assam Finance Minister and BJP leader Hemant Biswa Sharma said, 'We will talk to Bangladesh and ask them to take back their people. But as long as it is not taken back, we will not give them the right to vote. But some special facilities will be given to them.

This BJP leader also said that those who came to this country as refugees after 1971 will face problems. We sympathize with them. But there are many in the list, who have affected the civil registration process. We will look into this matter.

The Finance Minister of Assam also said that this process will continue till the tribals of Assam regain their place. We have identified around 14-15 lakh foreigners - this is proven. We are not taking into account what Mamata Banerjee said. Illegal foreigners are Mamata's vote bank. So he is speaking for them.

Earlier, the Assam government published the final NRC last Saturday. 3 crore 11 lakh people were finally placed in that list. On the other hand, a little more than 19 lakh 6 thousand people have been excluded from the list.

In this regard, the Assam State Police said that those who are not listed in the NRC will have up to 120 days to apply in the FT.

The Central Ministry of Home Affairs of the country said that the citizens who failed to raise their names can first approach the High Court and then the Supreme Court. No one will be sent to Detention Camp (D-Camp) unless the legal process is completed.

But for these innocent people who have been left out, going through these legal processes is considered by the concerned experts to be extremely difficult. It is believed that India's relationship with Bangladesh may fall into crisis over this issue.
