The Dhaka Times Desk India's Chandrayaan-2 mission failed. Contact with the moon was lost just before landing. While this is disappointing for India, Pakistani ministers have scoffed at the matter.
After the failure of India's Chandrayaan-2 mission, Pakistan's ministers did not forget to mock India on the matter. Some have termed India's campaign as madness. Someone tried to take a stab at Kashmir again. However, many Pakistanis have strongly criticized the leaders for such pranks.
After the failure of India's Chandrayaan-2, Pakistan's Science and Technology Minister Fawad Choudhury wrote on Twitter that - Dear India, think about your poverty instead of going crazy like sending a vehicle to the moon. Otherwise the Kashmir mission will fail like the Chandrayaan, but at a much higher cost. In an earlier tweet, the Pakistani minister also joked about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reaction after the mission failed.
On the other hand, Faisal Javed Khan, a senator from Imran Khan's party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, wrote that India should work on its own toilets instead of launching an expedition to the moon. India is only wasting money by raiding the moon like Kashmir. He also gave the hashtag that India failed this time.
Pakistan ISPR Director General Asif Ghafoor also took a dig at India. He wrote in one of his tweets that, who will India blame for the failure of this mission? Kashmiris or anti-Hinduism?
However, the general public of the country is also criticizing the Pakistani leaders for such pranks. BBC journalist Faran Rafi wrote on Twitter that someone should interview Fawad Chowdhury. Ask him what is the status of Pakistan's space research! What does he really know about space science? He said before that what is the meaning of soft landing?
Another Pakistani journalist named Mubashir Zaidi wrote on Twitter that India is at least trying. I don't understand why our ministers are so happy. Pakistan has never tried! Not only that, several of Pakistan's renowned journalists have also reprimanded Pakistani leaders on this matter.
