If you listen, it will seem like an unreal event. But in fact it is true. The price of milk is more expensive than the price of petrol in Pakistan!

According to a report in the media, the price of milk in Pakistan has gone out of reach on the holy day of Ashura. On this day, milk was sold at a higher price than the price of petrol in the big cities of Pakistan. That's why there was a cry for milk on the day of Muharram among the common people in the Muslim-majority country!

According to a report in the local newspapers of Pakistan, the price of milk is sold at 140 rupees per liter on the day of Muharram in Karachi, the main city of Sindh province. An interesting fact is that today petrol and diesel are sold much cheaper than milk.

On Muharram in Karachi, petrol-diesel prices were several rupees lower than milk. Diesel price was Rs 91 per liter and petrol price was Rs 113 per litre. But on this day, milk was sold at 140 taka per liter.

However, the price of milk was not uniform in all parts of Sindh province. It is mentioned in the news media that it has been sold for 120 to 140 taka per liter in particular areas.

In this regard, a government spokesperson said, there is a huge demand for milk during Muharram. And because of this extra demand, milk has been sold at such a high price.

On the day of Muharram, milk, fruit juice and cold water are distributed during the Yatra with the Tajiya procession. So the demand for milk suddenly increased on the day of Muharram. Due to the increase in demand, the price also increases a lot. However, as the price of milk overtook the price of petrol and diesel, many common people of the country were in trouble.

It is to be noted that since last few years terrorist activities have increased to an extreme extent and it has spread its influence on the life of Pakistan. Incidents such as bomb blasts often occur in Pakistan. Terrorist groups are active in the country at various times including suicide attacks. Due to which the country has a financial crisis.
