After the death of a beggar, the police recovered Tk 2 lakh 10 thousand cash and Tk 10 lakh 44 thousand fixed deposit (FDR) paper from his room. After the beggar was killed in a train accident, the police went to his room and found the money.
According to an Indian media report, the beggar named Birju Chandra Azad (62) was recently killed by a train near Govandi station in Mumbai, India. The beggar lived in a hut near the station. The police found the money from the local residents in his house.
In this regard, an official of Mumbai Police said that after he died in a train accident, they took the body of the beggar to his house. This time there were small bags and buckets filled with lots of coins. Moreover, the police also found his FDR there.
