Airport customs officers were surprised to see bags full of onions. He told the officials that his parents wanted onion, so he brought it from China.
Rini Rajyun Tisa is working as an officer of a private bank. To get rid of the monotony of work, he travels to different countries when he gets leave. This travel-hungry young woman went to China on leave on November 14.
Tisa said, before returning home, I asked my parents on the phone what to bring for you? Dad's clear answer, nothing will be needed. But if you really want to bring it, then bring a few kilos of onions. I heard that the price of onion is very low there. Onion price in Dhaka has increased to Tk 250 per kg.

Tisa said that instead of buying any other gift, she will buy 11 kg of onion at the rate of 38 taka per kg in Bangladeshi taka and gift it to her parents. As the airport customs officials in Dhaka smiled when they saw the onion, so did the Chinese grocery store seller.
Tisa said, the seller of that shop in China was quite surprised because of my onion purchase. After weighing 11 kg, there was one more onion, which was also given as a gift by the shopkeeper. This is the shopkeeper's first experience of buying so many onions on a foreign trip.
Tisa also said that when traveling abroad, I have bought gifts for my parents many times. They are also happy with it. But this time they are so happy to get onions, I have never seen them so happy!
