Lalbagh Fort is the only historical monument of Mughal period in Bangladesh. In which hard stones, marble stones and various colored tiles have been used at the same time.
Apart from Lalbagh Fort, no other historical monuments of Bangladesh have found such a diverse combination so far. Lalbagh Fort is located in Lalbagh of Old Dhaka. It is a privilege to see this three-hundred-year-old structure and various things used by the emperors of that time. It is also a surprise. You can also get lost in the era of Mughal rulers to see the items used by emperors in Lalbagh Fort.
During summer the fort is open from 10 am to 6 pm. On the other hand in winter it is open from 9 am to 5 pm. Fort is closed for full day on Sunday, half day on Monday. Moreover, Lalbagh Fort is closed on all public holidays.
Outside the main gate of the fort there are two counters on either side. In that the counter on the left side is closed and the counter on the right side is open. Ticket price for domestic tourists is only Tk 10 per person.
