Iraq
No one has an exact figure for how many US troops are in Iraq. But the Green Zone, Baghdad's diplomatic enclave, currently houses US troops at Al Asad Air Base. The number of which can be approximately 6 thousand.
Kuwait
Kuwait is one of the US allies in the Middle East. The two countries also have a defense assistance agreement. There are several US bases in the country. Where about 13 thousand soldiers are stationed.
Syria
The location of US troops in Syria is a secret. The Pentagon began withdrawing troops there in October. Until then, the country had about 2,000 soldiers, which has now come down to 800. One of the active bases is on the Syrian-Jordanian border. Near it are the Iranians and their supported forces.
Jordan
