They are dreaming of building technology-based digital Bangladesh. One such young man is Farhan Ferdous.
This talented young Farhan Ferdous, who has pursued higher studies in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence and has scored the highest score in the entrance exam competing with students from all over the world. These talented children who grew up in the village soil of Bangladesh are leading the world today. They have proved again and again that the soil of Bangladesh is purer than gold, just like the talented people of this country are valuable assets to the whole world.
Born in Satkhira district of Khulna division of Bangladesh, a technologist who is the first from Bangladesh to pursue higher education in robotics and artificial intelligence. He scored the highest among students from all over the world in the admission test for higher education in Japan. This young talented engineer and researcher is Farhan Ferdous.
He is currently working as a robotics engineer in a company in Japan. Besides, he is serving as the founder and chairman of Japan Bangladesh Robotics and Advanced Technology Research Center. His organization also conducts seminars and workshops. He is also conducting international conferences on robotics, drones, IoT, machine learning, automated systems in various universities, colleges and schools in Bangladesh. Apart from Bangladesh, he has attended international conferences including Japan, USA, India. He has also authored research papers in international journals and international book chapters on robotics, artificial intelligence.
It is known that Farhan Ferdous was a very fickle and fast-tempered person in his childhood. Father Md. Abdur Rauf is an advocate of Bangladesh Supreme Court and his mother Nasima Sultana is a writer. Since his childhood, he had a strong interest in science and learning new things, and the desire to research something new came to his mind. "Creating useful things that make people's lives easy and beautiful became his meditation," Farhan told the media about his childhood.
Farhan was admitted to the government Dhaka Polytechnic Institute after passing SSC from New Model Multipurpose High School in his student life. From there he got 3rd position in merit list in Diploma Engineering in Mechanical. After that, he entered the private university World University of Bangladesh only with a strong desire to work with robotics and thinking about the future of Bangladesh.
At that time, this university was the only educational institution to study robotics in Bangladesh. From there Farhan secured 2nd position in B.Sc in Mechatronics Engineering. After that he started trying in different countries of the world for higher education. Finally, this talented young Farhan got the opportunity to research robotics for the first time in the history of Bangladesh. He completed his master's degree in robotics engineering from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
Farhan is currently working as a robotics engineer in a company in Japan. Also, he is researching at Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Moreover, he is serving as the founder and chairman of Japan Bangladesh Robotics and Advanced Technology Research Center from Japan.
His organization conducts seminars and workshops in various universities, colleges, schools in Bangladesh on robotics, drones, IoT, machine learning, automation and also conducts international conferences. Not only that, he is working with various organizations and organizations of Bangladesh with the aim of building information technology and digital Bangladesh due to his indomitable love for the country even from abroad.
Before coming to the present study, his research started with the final year project of World University of Bangladesh. He wanted to make a model of a rocket with an advanced technology. However, his project remained unfinished due to the change of their supervisor university. However, despite various obstacles, Farhan Ferdous continued his efforts without stopping.
He is currently working on robotics and artificial intelligence. His research interests include robotics, control systems, artificial intelligence and dynamics. For his work and research, he is a well-known personality and favorite face in the university campus. In a very short time, he has gained recognition by working with foreign professors, researchers and students and is gaining reputation as a successful Bangladeshi.
Every science-minded young man wants to work in NASA from childhood. This is exactly what happened to our Bangladeshi Farhan. Since childhood, he has been dreaming of working as a proud Bangladeshi in companies like NASA or Japan's famous Toyota, Sony, Honda, Fujitsu. That desire has brought him to this place today.
But now he wants to do more information and technology work for Bangladesh. That is why Farhan is developing himself as an efficient engineer and researcher. He wants to make new robots in the context of Bangladesh and wants to bring all necessary technology touches in daily life. He wants to do NASA-like research work on the youth of the country once he gets the right assessment.
Besides, Farhan wants to make Bangladeshi youth skilled in technology like the Japanese. For this, Japan is always trying to stand by the Bangladeshi youth.
Scientist Farhan Ferdous thinks that we should keep in touch with the outside world and build a strong community. Our organization is also opening short and long courses on robotics, drones, IoT, machine learning etc. The whole world should be impressed by our new research.
