The death toll from the corona virus in China is 132

The Dhaka Times Desk The number of deaths due to the novel coronavirus infection in China is gradually increasing. So far 132 people have died in China. About 6 thousand have been affected. This information was given by the National Health Commission of the country.

According to an expert in the Chinese news agency Xinhua, the number of people affected by the corona virus may reach a maximum in the next 7 to 10 days. Apart from China, 71 people from 17 countries have been reported infected with this virus.

Meanwhile, for the first time, scientists have been able to create the corona virus in a laboratory in Melbourne, Australia. This is seen as a significant step forward in the discovery of a vaccine against the coronavirus.

On December 31, the first patient infected with this deadly virus was found in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. Since then, the number of infected and dead in the country continues to increase. Currently this virus is spreading not only in China but also in other countries. This virus is now a great fear.

In addition to various cities in China, cases of the virus have been reported in Thailand, Japan, South Korea, the United States, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Nepal, France, Australia, Germany, Canada, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Taiwan.

The World Health Organization has named this new virus as the 2019 Novel Corona Virus. In most cases, it has been found that the virus is spreading mainly through people who have traveled to China. That is why many countries have banned their citizens from traveling to China to prevent the spread of the virus. Air communication with China has also been almost stopped. If a Chinese flight goes to another country, that country does not allow the passengers of the flight to enter without a health check. This corona virus has caused panic all over the world.

Meanwhile, many citizens of Bangladesh are stranded in China. Especially those who are staying in China for education are living a miserable life. Because they can't even come to the country. Can't go out again. The Embassy of Bangladesh in China has advised them to stay normal and not panic. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh said that the Bangladeshi citizens stuck in China cannot be brought back to the country for the time being. It has been advised to maintain contact with the citizens and provide reassurance and follow up until the situation normalizes.
