The death toll is increasing by leaps and bounds every day. A recent study has revealed that at least 59,000 lives have been saved by imposing strict measures like lockdown, even if it cannot be brought under control very soon.

A group of researchers from the Imperial College London in the United Kingdom has given this information by analyzing the data of corona infection in 11 European countries until March 28.

Researchers believe that 38,000 lives have been saved in Italy alone due to lockdown and social distancing. At least 16,000 lives were saved in Spain and 2,600 in France.

Basically, this number of lives saved depends on how long the lockdown has been going on in the country. Moreover, in countries where the number of victims is less, the number of lives saved is also very less. For example, only 10 people survived in Norway, 69 people survived in Denmark. At least 370 lives have been saved in UK lockdown.

Research shows that at least 43 million people have been infected with the corona virus in European countries till March 28. That is, according to the population of this continent, the number of infected is 11.4 percent.

Moreover, the lowest rate of corona infection in Europe is in Norway and Germany (0.41 percent and 0.7 percent). Its rate is highest in Spain at about 15 percent.

Italy has the highest number of cases in Europe, but the infection rate is somewhat lower due to its large population. So far 9.8 percent of people in the country have been affected by the corona virus.

The research report also said that due to the imposition of various strict measures including lockdown in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, the spread of corona virus has decreased by an average of 64 percent.

Professor Crystal Donnelly, who participated in the study, said the report provides clear evidence of the benefits of social distancing. By keeping distance from each other, we will be able to reduce the spread of this virus, reduce the risk of illness, and even reduce the number of deaths around us.

Those who have dry hands use Moisture after washing their hands. Soap or hand liquid can be used. Why can this virus remain in the crackle (cracked part) of dry hands? Avoid using highly alkaline soaps or detergents.
