একদিনে ভারতে করোনায় মৃত ৪৮

The Dhaka Times Desk ভারতে করোনা ভাইরাসে ২৪ ঘন্টায় মারা গেলো ৪৮ জন। একদিনে আক্রান্তে হয়েছেন ৮ শতাধিক। লকডাউনের মধ্যে আক্রান্ত ও মৃতের সংখ্যা বাড়তে থাকায় বাড়ছে গণসংক্রমণের ঘটনাও।

এদিকে পরিস্থিতি মোকাবিলায় ১৫ হাজার কোটি টাকা বরাদ্দ দিলেও দেশটির বিরোধীরা বলেছেন এই অর্থ মোটেও যথেষ্ট নয়। জনতা কারফিউর মধ্যদিয়ে মূলত ২২ মার্চ শুরু হয়েছিলো ভারতের লকডাউন কর্মসূচি। তবে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে একদিন পর হতে ২১ দিনের জন্য লকডাউন শুরু হয়। যা শেষ হতে আর বাকি রয়েছে কয়েকদিন। ইতিমধ্যে মহারাষ্ট্র, তামিলনাড়ু, দিল্লি, রাজস্থান, গুজরাট, তেলেঙ্গানা, উত্তরপ্রদেশ, অন্ধ্রপ্রদেশ, মধ্যপ্রদেশে ব্যাপকভাবে ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে করোনা ভাইরাসটির সংক্রমণ।

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ, ত্রিপুরা, আসাম, মিজরাম, মণিপুর, পন্ডিচেরি, গোয়াসহ ভারতের বাকি রাজ্যগুলোতে মোটামুটিভাবে তেমন দাঁত বসাতে না পারলেও এপ্রিলের শেষ দিকে উদ্বেগ বাড়াতে পারে করোনা ভাইরাস।পরিস্থিতি খতিয়ে দেখতে তাই সব রাজ্যের করোনা রিপোর্ট তলব করেছেন দেশটির প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি। তিনি আজ (শনিবার) চূড়ান্তভাবে লকডাউন নিয়ে পরবর্তী সিদ্ধান্ত নেবেন।

এদিকে ভারতের পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যে করোনা মোকাবিলায় রাজ্য সরকার জোরেসোরে কাজ করছে। গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করছেন চিকিৎসক, স্বাস্থকর্মীদের পাশাপাশি পুলিশ বাহিনী। তাদের উৎসাহ যোগাতে রাস্তায় নেমেছেন দেশটির তারকারা। এদিকে কোলকাতার নিউমার্কেট যেখানে এই চৈত্রে ক্রেতা-বিক্রেতাদের পদচারণায় মুখর থাকতো, সেখানেও এখন করোনা আতঙ্কে খা খা করছে চারপাশ।
