Invention of alternative ventilators in Britain

The Dhaka Times Desk Corona virus (Covid-19) attacks human lungs. Due to which there is shortness of breath. For which the patient needs to be admitted to the hospital's ICU (intensive care unit) and given artificial oxygen. This oxygen is given with the help of a ventilator.

However, there is a shortage of these ventilators in hospitals. That is why many countries are taking initiatives to make new ventilators.

However, this time in Britain, such a device has been invented with the help of which Corona patients can take oxygen outside the hospital.

The device was jointly developed by the Mercedes Formula One team and engineers at University College London. With its help, it will be possible to supply oxygen to the patient's lungs without a ventilator.

Around the world, 2.3 million people have been infected with the corona virus so far. One and a half million people died. Among these patients, 5 lakh 64 thousand 210 people have recovered.

It should be noted that the idea of developing an alternative ventilator in Bangladesh has already been considered. Where the cost of bringing a ventilator from abroad is Tk 5/6 lakh, making these ventilators made in Bangladesh will cost only Tk 50,000. However, the matter is now awaiting trial preparation and approval from the concerned ministry.

Things to do to prevent Corona virus

# stay at home all the time.
# Follow the rules and use mask when going out for emergency.
# three-layer surgical mask can be washed if desired.
# wash clothes after coming home from outside. Or hang it without shaking for at least four hours.
# Wash hands thoroughly (for at least 20 seconds) with soap or liquid before coming outside.
# plastic PPE or eyes, face, head must be washed thoroughly with detergent and dried after one use.
# Wear PPE made of cloth or clean as described.
# Use a head cap that completely covers the hair.
# Those who have sneeze cough should follow all the rules promulgated by the government. Also, wash hands as directed before and after handling food items, keys, switches, mice, remote controls, mobiles, watches, computer desks, TVs, etc. and after using the bathroom. Those who have dry hands use Moisture after washing their hands. Soap or hand liquid can be used. Why can this virus remain in the crackle (cracked part) of dry hands? Avoid using highly alkaline soaps or detergents.
