Both cats were examined for mild respiratory distress. However, the doctors there hope that the cats will recover soon.
On April 22, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the country's Department of Agriculture reported that pets were infected with the coronavirus at a joint press conference.

The cat was first tested for covid-19 after developing respiratory problems. Earlier, a lion and a tiger were diagnosed with corona in New York. However, no one else in the house where the first cat was infected was infected with corona.
It is thought that an asymptomatic member of the cat may have spread the virus. After the attack, the cat became slightly ill.
A second cat also contracted the virus at a home in another part of New York. The cat's owner noticed the cat's breathing problems and took it for a covid-19 test.
Researchers say that pets should be kept away from crowded places to protect them from the virus. If someone in the house gets infected with corona, then the other member is asked to take care of the pet apart from him by the CDC.
It is also requested to refrain from kissing or licking infected pets.
