Changes in the seating system are coming to increase the safe distance on the plane to get protection from the corona virus.

Some airlines have suggested removing the middle seats on planes to comply with social distancing. An Italian airline company has also given a novel idea to redesign the economy class cabin of the aircraft.
Italian designers from a company called AVO Interiors have sampled the design of two seats to maintain a safe distance between passengers. It will not be necessary to move extra space or the middle seat in the plane, according to a CNN report. Three-seater 'Janus' seats are set in a row, with the middle one facing right. It is named after the ancient Roman god Janus.
In plain terms, the first seat in the first row faces one way, while the middle one faces the opposite way, and the third one is the same as the first one. Thus the second row seats will be 3 opposite to the first row.
These seats will also be easy to clean. Maximum isolation will also be ensured by maintaining maximum distance from one seat to another. Similarly, there will be barricades on three sides with transparent material between each seat. By doing this, the other passengers will be safe from the breathing of one passenger. Thus, the entire cabin will require at least 7 inches of additional space to maintain the same number of seats as before. Otherwise the number of seats should be reduced.
Another offering from AVO Interiors is the GlassSafe system, which surrounds each seat with safety glass, keeping the previous seat in place. But both the proposals are not the right way to follow the social distancing rules.
The social distancing rule is that the distance from one person to another should be at least 6 feet or two meters. An attempt has been made to create a safe barricade between passengers sitting side by side with a glass wall.
AVO Interiors Company told the media that many airlines have already chosen our designs. Phototypes of Janus and GlassSafe Noshka have already been created. Engineering design is also in progress. The company believes that it will take 8 to 11 months to complete this process.
