On behalf of Khadija Cengizi, her lawyer made this call. He said, the English Premier League should completely stop this transaction in protest of Jamal Khashoggi's murder. In a letter written to the English Premier League authorities, Khadija said that English football should not allow someone whose hands are stained with the blood of innocent people.

It should be noted that in October 2018, the famous Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi was brutally murdered inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. Once known as close to the Saudi royal family, Khashoggi later became a harsh critic of the monarchy. His family claims that he had to die because of that.

In addition to the UN report, the investigation report of the Western countries also mentioned the name of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman as the mastermind of the murder, but he always denied it. In the end, Salman was freed from this accusation due to the influence of power.

Recently, international media reported that 80 percent ownership of English football team Newcastle United is being sold. The Saudi Public Investment Fund, controlled by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, is looking to buy it. Then Jamal Khashoggi's fiancee urged the Saudi prince not to give the club.
