After getting married, he returned with his wife but riding a bicycle. However, following the rules of the lockdown, this young man cycled the entire way with a handkerchief tied around his face.
According to local media sources in India, Kalku Prajapati is a resident of Pauthia village in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh. The date of marriage with the chosen bride Rinki was fixed long before the corona infection. The wedding date was fixed on April 25. However, the wedding ceremony of Kalku and Rinki was canceled due to the spread of the deadly virus in the country. So think as well as act without waiting. This 23-year-old youth went out to get married alone with a bicycle. Kalku arrived at Rinki's house in Punia village of Mahoba district by cycling about a hundred kilometers.
Kalku, a farmer by profession, said, we were not getting permission from the local administration to get married. So I had no choice but to cycle. Our marriage cards are also distributed among relatives. So it was necessary to get married on the appointed day.
After studying till class 10, Kalkur did not study anymore. So he worked in agriculture with his father. All arrangements for this wedding were made about 5 months ago. So on the day of the wedding, when Kalku was called by Rinki's family, he came to the wedding riding a bicycle. In Kalkur's language, I appeared on a bicycle as I had a bike but did not have a driving license. However, following the rules of the lockdown, Kalku cycled the whole way with a handkerchief on his face.
The wedding was arranged in a village temple. Both the bride and groom sit with their faces covered during the wedding. However, when returning with his wife after marriage, the new groom has to gain speed. Riding the whole road with your wife and crossing 100 kilometers is not a chatty thing.
Kalku said, I was suffering from severe leg pain after returning home. Even while sleeping, I feel like I am riding a bicycle in my dreams. I had to get married in a hurry because my mother was very ill. If I have a wife, there will be someone to look after my mother. My wife can cook and feed my mother.
