Corona free beer in Germany!

The Dhaka Times Desk Due to the deadly corona virus epidemic, there is a decline in business and trade in almost every country of the world. Many establishments including restaurants and hotels are closed. Germany is no exception.

Like other companies, Germany's beer production companies are in danger due to Corona. Thousands of liters of beer are about to go to waste. Finally, a company started distributing beer for free.

Instead of throwing beer away, a company called Villinger Brauheis in Germany has decided to distribute it to customers for free. According to international media sources, this company in the Hesse state of Germany has already distributed 2,600 liters of beer.

The owner of the organization Franz Mast told the media, 'We want to thank the people. We hope that those who are coming now will stay with us even if the situation is normal.'

The beer is to be supplied to various area restaurants, bars and hotels. But Villinger Brauheis is in danger as everything is closed due to the corona epidemic. Now slowly everything is starting to open in different states of Germany. Because of this, the company will have to go into production of new beer before the situation is completely normal.

Meanwhile, customers are crowding to get free beer. Many people have been seen standing in line to buy beer since morning following various instructions including maintaining social distance and wearing masks almost every day.

It should be noted that the Corona pandemic has greatly disrupted beer production in Germany, like other sectors. During the summer, various beer festivals are organized throughout Germany. However, this time, the famous Oktoberfest in the state of Bavaria and other beer festivals have been canceled due to the corona virus. Exports to China and Italy have also stopped.

In this situation, the Deutsche Brewer Bund, the organization of German beer producers, has expressed the fear of a major collapse in this sector.
