It is known that due to this incident of ferocious dogs, children have been stopped from going to school in remote Charanchal Pipulbari and Araji Pipulbari villages of Jatrapur Union of Kurigram Sadar Upazila. And small children have to spend their lives in captivity at home. Not only this, even adult able-bodied people are forced to move in groups. The main reason for the fear of dogs is that in the last one and a half months, 30-35 ferocious dogs have mauled about 60 goats and sheep in front of their eyes. Like a hyena, it attacks people when it gets a chance.

According to the news, this region is bordering India. In these two Char villages, after knowing the location of the victim, the group of violent dogs called other dogs and attacked them in a group and ate the victim to pieces in a moment. The people of the area are worried about their safety and the safety of their children. Parents stopped sending children to school. Recently, the residents of Jatrapur UP have submitted a written request to Jatrapur UP Chairman Abdul Ghafoor to kill the dogs. Nazrul Islam of Araji Pipulbari village said that on March 23, the villagers tried to kill the dog by miking. The dogs cannot be caught as there is a large grazing area and a grazing area next to the Indian border. Shahjahan Ali, an NGO worker working in the area, said that the dogs have become carnivores after eating the dead cows during the crossing of the Brahmaputra river by Indian cows. Now, as the movement of cattle through the corridor is reduced, ferocious dogs are attacking the weaker animals, goats and sheep. Jatrapur UP Chairman Alhaj Abdul Gafur said that the dogs have already eaten 60 goats and sheep. Dr. Kurigram District Livestock Officer. Abdur Rashid said that the behavior of local dogs can change by mixing with wild dogs. But usually when a dog is mad, it behaves like this. He said, now there is no option but to kill them.
