Dr. National Professor lay in eternal sleep. Anisuzzaman

The Dhaka Times Desk Nandit educationist and national professor was laid to rest next to his father's grave in Azimpur cemetery. Anisuzzaman. He was buried with state honors following the rules of hygiene.

He was laid to rest at the capital's Azimpur cemetery around 10:30 a.m. today, Friday (May 15).

Dhaka Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Dr. Anisuzzaman's body was taken to Azimpur graveyard. He was buried there with state honor after other formalities. Guard of honor was given by Dhaka district administration.

The samples collected from his body before and after his death were found to be infected with the corona virus. That's why his funeral and burial were done according to hygiene rules.

He is survived by his wife Siddika Zaman, two daughters Ruchiba and Shuchita and only son Anand Zaman and numerous relatives, friends and well-wishers.

Bangla Academy President Anisuzzaman was 83 years old at the time of his death. In addition to heart, kidney and lung complications, Parkinson's disease and prostate problems, he eventually developed an infection in his blood.
