Eid is celebrated in the Middle East due to Corona

The Dhaka Times Desk Yesterday (Sunday) Eid was celebrated by various Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain. Eid has faded in the Middle East due to Corona.

As always, there was no Eid mood at all. Because most of the countries did not even allow leaving the house or going to the mosque.

The whole world is trembling with the fear of the corona epidemic. To prevent the spread of this deadly corona virus, public gatherings and prayers in mosques are prohibited. Social distancing is also being emphasized in various countries.

The government of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar informed that the mosques will be closed this time. Due to which the Muslims could not offer Eid prayers as before.

At the same time, in these countries, it is asked to refrain from roaming around or visiting relatives' houses or giving gifts to anyone, giving children money or any other gifts.

The Saudi government announced a 24-hour curfew during the Eid holiday to prevent the spread of Corona. For this reason, it is suggested to perform the Eid prayers in one's own home. However, the muezzins preached the Eid takbeer on the mic from dawn until the Eid prayer.

Although Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were held in the two holy mosques of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, the general public could not participate in them. This information was given in a report of the Saudi Press Agency on Saturday.

All kinds of public gatherings have been banned in Oman. It has been made mandatory to wear a mask when going out of the house. That is why the devout Muslims of Oman are not able to enjoy any kind of festival even on Eid.

A 20-day lockdown was announced in Kuwait from last May 10. That's why there was no mood of Eid like before. This year people have to celebrate Eid at home.

All mosques in Bahrain have been closed since last March. Eid prayers are broadcast from Al Fateh Grand Mosque on radio and TV. The imams of different mosques preached the Eid takbeer from the morning but the worshipers could not go to the mosque to offer prayers.

Qatar was also strict during Eid. There too, a ban on all commercial activities has been imposed till May 30. It was also valid during Eid.

# stay at home all the time.
# Follow the rules and use mask when going out for emergency.
# three-layer surgical mask can be washed if desired.
# wash clothes after coming home from outside. Or hang it without shaking for at least four hours.
# Wash hands thoroughly (for at least 20 seconds) with soap or liquid before coming outside.
# plastic PPE or eyes, face, head must be washed thoroughly with detergent and dried after one use.
# Wear PPE made of cloth or clean as described.
# Use a head cap that completely covers the hair.
# Those who have sneeze cough should follow all the rules promulgated by the government. Also, wash hands as directed before and after handling food items, keys, switches, mice, remote controls, mobiles, watches, computer desks, TVs, etc. and after using the bathroom. Those who have dry hands use Moisture after washing their hands. Soap or hand liquid can be used. Why can this virus remain in the crackle (cracked part) of dry hands? Avoid using highly alkaline soaps or detergents.
