The Dhaka Times Desk The construction of Ram temple is starting on the 10th of this June at the site of the much-discussed historical Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India.
According to Indian media reports, the trust announced by Narendra Modi for the construction of the temple has informed that Shiva will be worshiped here first. Only then will the construction of the temple begin. Mahadev Aradhana will start from 8 am on June 10 at Shashank Shekhar Mandir. During this time worship will continue for 2 hours. Then L&T company will start construction of the temple on this day itself. All arrangements have already been made for that.
Mohant Nrityagopal Das, chairman of Ram Janmabhoomi Tirthkshetra Trust visited the construction site of the temple on May 26. After the puja there, he announced the start of the work on the Ram temple.
It is to be noted that after the announcement of the judgment of the Supreme Court of the country on November 9 last year, time was given for the formation of a trust for the construction of the Ram temple.
In that judgment, the Supreme Court said that the Ram Mandir would be built on the site of the disputed Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid; Alternatively, 5 acres of land will be given elsewhere to the Muslim Waqf Board for construction of the Babri Masjid.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the formation of the trust in the Lok Sabha three days before the Delhi elections. The MPs of the government raised the slogan 'Jai Shri Ram' that day.
The temple will be 125 feet in total. Although there are proposals to increase it to 160 feet from various quarters. The first floor of the temple will be 18 feet. There will be a statue of Ram Lala. The second floor will be 15 feet 9 inches. This second floor will be built as Ram's court.
It may be noted that the historic Babri Masjid centuries ago was demolished by some Hindu fundamentalists claiming that their Ram temple was there and the mosque was demolished in 1992. After that there is a case. In that case, the judgment was finally given in favor of the Hindus. That is why the historic Babri Masjid, hundreds of years ago, is finally no more.
