Recently, researchers at the German Veterinary University have also conducted a study on identifying corona patients using the sense of smell of Labrador dogs. For this, 8 dogs of the German army were specially trained for a week.
After just one week of training, it can be seen that these 8 dogs of the army can easily recognize corona patients by smelling them. German researchers claimed that the trained dogs were able to accurately identify corona patients in 94 percent of cases.
In this regard, German researchers said that in this study, among more than 1,000 completely healthy and corona patients, these dogs were able to identify only those infected with the virus by smell. It may be possible to identify corona infected people in such places.
In addition to the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf and the German Armed Forces, researchers from the Hannover Medical School were also involved in this study.
