Now it is being said that water will provide energy as fuel in the cars of the future. Then surely you can be surprised! But recently, industrial designer Maxime Leafvery has also released a concept image of a water-powered two-wheeler.
In 2016 Maxim Liffery first shared sketches of the bike with motorbike maker Yama. Then the bike's engine frame development to fairing design, other accessory works were started at the initiative of Yamaha. Now the final concept image of it has been revealed by Maxime Liffery.
It is known that the name of this concept bike is Yamaha XT 500 H Two O Edition. Many consider the bike to be the reincarnation of Yamaha's XT500, an enduro-adventure bike from the 70s. The Yamaha XT 500 sold between 1975 and 1981 had a petrol powered 499 cc four stroke single cylinder engine. It was then capable of generating a maximum of 32 HP and 39 Nm of torque. The maximum speed of the bike was 160 kmph
The upcoming Yamaha XT 500 H2 and Edition bike may feature a closed loop H2 and motor. It is reported that a water pump in this bike will circulate the water and also provide propulsion to the engine.
The white shaded tires on which the bike is seen in the concept image perfectly suit the style of the bike. With this water-powered motorbike there is absolutely no possibility of environmental pollution, just as there is no need to worry about fuel costs to have an endless supply of water. Also the maintenance cost of the bike will be much less than the electric bike
Notably, if Yamaha can bring this H2 and Edition bike to the market, it will undoubtedly create a buzz in the market as well as open a new horizon in terms of technology. But at the moment, there is no information on whether Yamaha is thinking of starting production of the bike. Even if the production starts, the bike is unlikely to hit the market before 2025.
