He has been teaching in the university for 17 years with reputation. In 2006, this professor (retd.) of the Department of Physics of Jahangirnagar University retired. M Abdul Awal (70). He was doing well for some time after retirement.

Abdul Awal knows that before teaching, I worked in Bangladesh Atomic Energy from 1965-1988. Then the teaching begins. I have earned a lot of money in this life. I retired from university in 2006. Then the boys and girls stopped asking about me.

Abdul Awal had his own flat in Kalyanpur housing estate. Also Pallavi also had several lands. However, these big boys have sold money to their own accounts, says Professor Awal regretfully.

Professor Awal said, after retiring from work, I used to stay with my elder son for some time. While staying in the son's family, I came to know that the relationship between the son and the wife is not going well. One day when I was at home, I came down after hearing abuse from my wife. Never went back. They didn't look for me either. The younger son came home from Australia in 2014. He came and talked to me in a shop at Mirpur-1. When he went there, he told me that his marriage was fixed. I am her father but she did not tell me that she is going to get married. I will go abroad again after getting married, I wanted to see my son's wife after hearing this. However, the son said that he cannot meet him.

Professor Awal was saying in a tone of regret, but I have sent 26 lakhs from the pension money for this boy's education as well. That boy also never calls me. Sometimes writes letters by email.

Professor Awal expressed his anger and said, "We are becoming more and more inhuman day by day while becoming highly educated. However, there are many poor and stupid people who live together with their parents. So are they not much better than the masked educated like us? Therefore, along with higher education, morality and humanity should also be learned by everyone.
