India's historic Taj Mahal is opening from September 21

The Dhaka Times Desk ৬ মাস বন্ধ থাকার পর আগামী ২১ সেপ্টেম্বর খুলে দেওয়া হচ্ছে ভারতের আগ্রার তাজমহল। করোনার কারণে বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয়েছিলো ঐতিহাসিক তাজমহল।

ভারতজুড়ে করোনা ভাইরাসের সংক্রমণ ভয়াবহ আকার ধারণ করা শুরুর প্রথম দিকে দেশব্যাপী লকডাউন কার্যকর করার আগেই গত ১৭ মার্চ মুঘল স্থাপত্যশৈলীর এই নিদর্শনটি দর্শনার্থীদের জন্য বন্ধ করে দেওয়া হয়েছিলো।

গত শতকের ৬০ এর দশকে ভারত-পাকিস্তান যুদ্ধের সময় একবার বন্ধ রাখা হয় তাজমহল। তারপর এবার করোনা ভাইরাসের জন্য তাজমহলের বন্ধ করা হয়েছিলো।

১ সেপ্টেম্বর আগ্রার অন্যান্য প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক নিদর্শনগুলোও খুলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। তবে উচ্চমাত্রায় করোনা সংক্রমিত এলাকার কাছাকাছি হওয়ার কারণে এখনও তাজমহল ও লাল কেল্লা বন্ধ রয়েছে।

২১ সেপ্টেম্বর খুলে দেওয়া হলেও তাজমহলে দর্শনার্থীর সংখ্যা করোনা কারণে সীমিত রাখা হবে। প্রতিদিন সর্বোচ্চ ৫ হাজার দর্শনার্থী এই স্থাপত্যকর্ম পরিদর্শন করতে পারবেন বলে জানা গেছে।

সেক্ষেত্রে অবশ্যই তাদের মাস্ক পড়তে হবে। এখানে কোন টিকিট কাউন্টার থাকবে না। দর্শনার্থীদের অনলাইনে টিকিট সংগ্রহ করতে হবে। এসব বিধি-বিধানের কথা সংবাদ মাধ্যমকে জানিয়েছেন ভারতের প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক জরিপ বিভাগের আগ্রা সার্কেলের তত্ত্বাবধায়ক প্রত্নতত্ববিদ বসন্ত স্বর্ণকার।

তিনি জানিয়েছেন, তাজমহল পরিদর্শনে করোনার সংক্রমণ রোধে কেন্দ্র সরকারের নেওয়া সব ধরনের স্বাস্থ্যবিধি অবশ্যই মানতে হবে। যেমন, সামাজিক দূরত্ব বজায় রাখতে হবে, হাত স্যানিটাইজ করার মতো উপায়ও অবলম্বন করতে হবে। খুলে দেওয়ার পর তাজমহল বন্ধ থাকবে শুক্র ও রবিবার ও আগ্রা দুর্গ বন্ধ থাকবে শুধু রবিবার।
