The Dhaka Times Desk চীনের প্রেসিডেন্ট শি জিনপিং বলেছেন যে, কোনও দেশকে কারও ভাগ্য নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে ও ‘বিশ্বের বসের’ মতো আচরণ করতে দেবে না চীন।

মঙ্গলবার ৭৫তম জাতিসংঘ সাধারণ পরিষদের (ইউএনজিএ) উচ্চ পর্যায়ের ভার্চুয়াল অধিবেশনে ভাষণে এমন কথা বলেছেন চীনের প্রেসিডেন্ট শি জিনপিং।

শি জিনপিং বলেন, বৈশ্বিক বিষয়ে আধিপত্য, কারও ভাগ্য নিয়ন্ত্রণ কিংবা ডেভেলপমেন্ট পুরোটাই নিজের কব্জায় রাখার অধিকার কারও নেই। চীনা প্রেসিডেন্টের বরাত দিয়ে দেশটির রাষ্ট্রীয গণমাধ্যম গ্লোবাল টাইমস জানিয়েছে যে, আধিপত্যবাদী, উৎপীড়ক কিংবা বিশ্বের বস নয় বরং যেকোনো দেশকে যা খুশি তাই করতে দিতে হবে। শি কারও নাম উল্লেখ না করলেও দৃশত তিনি মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের দিকেই ইঙ্গিত করেছেন।

জাতিসংঘে উন্নয়নশীল দেশগুলোর প্রতিনিধিত্ব বাড়ানোর আহ্বান জানিয়ে শি জিনপিং বলেন, বিশ্বের সর্ববৃহৎ এই সংস্থাকে সঠিকভাবে আইনের শাসন প্রতিষ্ঠা করতে হবে।

চীনের প্রেসিডেন্ট আরও বলেন, যার মুঠোর শক্তি বেশি আছে, তারা যেনো কোনো অবস্থাতেই দুর্বলদের ওপর আধিপত্য করতে না পারে। নিয়ম এবং বিধি মেনে বিভিন্ন দেশের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক ও তাদের স্বার্থের সমন্বয়ও করতে হবে।

শি জিনপিং বলেন, বিশ্বের বড় দেশগুলোর আন্তর্জাতিক আইনের প্রতিষ্ঠা ও নিজেদের প্রতিশ্রুতি বজায় রাখার মাধ্যমে উদাহরণ সৃষ্টি করা দরকার। তিনি আরও বলেন, এক্ষেত্রে কোনও ব্যতিক্রম কিংবা দ্বৈত মানদণ্ড থাকবে না কিংবা আন্তর্জাতিক আইনকে অন্য দেশের বৈধ অধিকার ও স্বার্থ কিংবা বিশ্ব শান্তি এবং স্থিতিশীলতা নষ্ট করার অজুহাত হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা মোটেও উচিত হবে না।
