The Dhaka Times Desk The doctor can no longer be lied to by eating upside down. Researchers at the National Taiwan University in Taipei have developed a sensor that can be attached to the teeth and the sensor can tell when what is being eaten.
Despite being very health conscious, we still make two mistakes. Excessive drinking, consumption of alcohol, unhealthy food sometimes becomes a regular occurrence. Lying to the doctor or disobeying the doctor's orders when sick is common. Just as a doctor fails to provide proper treatment without proper information, the patient may suffer from long-term problems. To overcome this problem, researchers have developed this small sensor that is attached to the teeth and will provide the doctor with information about your daily food intake. Hiding, lying can now be easily caught by the doctor.
The sensor is made up of a very small circuit. It can get stuck in the tooth gap. It can also detect chewing, drinking, eating or talking while attached. After detection, the sensor will send the data to the doctor's smartphone via Bluetooth.
The sensor was tested on 8 people and found to transmit 94% accurate data. Although the device has shown excellent results, researchers are still trying to make the device more functional.
