The Dhaka Times Desk French President Emmanuel Macron has issued a new corona curfew in 8 cities of the country including Paris. This curfew will be in force from 9 pm to 6 am.
In a TV statement, Macron said the rule will remain in place for the next four weeks. However, the country's government wants to extend it by two more weeks.
Not only France, but the whole of Europe, the second wave of corona has already started. Due to which several countries including Germany, Netherlands and Spain have started to take a strict stance to prevent Corona again. German Chancellor Angela Merkel also announced the new rules.
In this regard, Merkel said that in areas where the number of infections is high, bars and restaurants cannot be kept open until late at night.
Corona virus has been spreading widely for the past few days due to which this is the first time since April that there have been so many infections in one day. It was then that Merkel decided to take tougher measures. He said that the new rules will start very soon in Germany.
Meanwhile, the city of Munich in Germany is at a new risk of corona infection. Infections also suddenly increased in Berlin. So the local administration has issued a curfew at night. Curfew was imposed in the city for the first time in 70 years.
All businesses, including shops, have been ordered to close by 11 pm. For now, the directive has been issued till the end of October. More than 5 people cannot go out together after 11 pm.
He said that in places where 50 or more people out of 100,000 will be infected, restaurants and bars should be closed by 11 pm. Not only that, no more than 10 people can gather at one place.
Again, more than 10 people cannot be called or gathered at home. Cafes, bars and restaurants have also been banned in the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, bars and restaurants have been closed for 15 days in Spain's Catalonia region last Thursday. The Czech Republic has also been banned again. The Czech Republic currently has the highest infection rate in Europe.
